I forgot my umbrella today.
今日は傘を忘れた。
The rain started on my way home.
帰り道に雨が降り出した。
At first I wanted to run.
最初は走りたかった。
My mind was full of tasks.
頭はやることでいっぱいだった。
But the drops on my skin felt fresh.
でも肌に当たる雨粒が気持ちよかった。
I slowed down and looked up.
歩みを緩めて空を見上げた。
The streetlights made the rain glow.
街灯が雨を光らせていた。
I felt the cold on my arms.
腕に冷たさを感じた。
It was real and simple.
それは現実で、単純だった。
The rain washed away my hurry.
雨が私の急ぎを洗い流した。
I walked home wet and light.
濡れて軽くなって家に着いた。
Tomorrow I might forget again.
明日もまた傘を忘れるかもしれない。
