Presenting My Plan and Staying Steady

I had to present a plan to leadership last week.

I was nervous, but I prepared well.

One director asked a tough question about costs.

I said, 'Great question — here is how we thought about it.'

Then I explained our budget reasoning step by step.

Another leader asked about the timeline.

I did not have the answer ready.

So I said, 'Let me come back to you on that.'

I wrote it down and followed up the next day.

The short version is: it went well.

They approved the plan with minor changes.

Staying calm and honest helped me a lot.
