I called my mother yesterday.
어제 엄마한테 전화했어요.
She was worried about my health.
엄마는 제 건강을 걱정하셨어요.
I told her, "Here is where things stand."
"지금 상황은 이래요"라고 말했어요.
I explained my test results simply.
검사 결과를 쉽게 설명했어요.
"What we are watching for is one small change."
"우리가 주의해야 할 건 작은 변화 하나예요."
She asked many questions.
엄마가 질문을 많이 하셨어요.
I said, "You can ask me anything."
"무엇이든 물어보세요"라고 말했어요.
She sounded calmer after we talked.
통화 후에 엄마 목소리가 차분해졌어요.
I felt better too.
저도 마음이 좀 편해졌어요.
Honesty was the right choice.
솔직하게 말하는 게 옳았어요.
Family worry is normal.
가족이 걱정하는 건 당연해요.
But clear updates help a lot.
하지만 명확한 소식이 큰 도움이 돼요.
