I saw the last leaf fall today.
मैंने आज आखिरी पत्ता गिरते देखा।
It was small, dry, and brown.
वह छोटा, सूखा और भूरा था।
It did not fight the wind.
उसने हवा से लड़ाई नहीं की।
It just let go.
उसने बस छोड़ दिया।
I thought about my own holding on.
मैंने अपनी पकड़ के बारे में सोचा।
Some things are hard to release.
कुछ चीज़ें छोड़ना मुश्किल होता है।
But the leaf taught me something.
लेकिन उस पत्ते ने मुझे कुछ सिखाया।
Letting go is not weakness.
छोड़ना कमज़ोरी नहीं है।
It is part of the cycle.

Nature knows when to let go.

I want to learn that too.

Maybe next autumn I will be ready.
