I just finished a discovery call.
Katatapos ko lang ng discovery call.
The client was a bit nervous too.
Medyo kinakabahan din ang client.
I started by saying, 'Tell me a bit about your work.'
Sinimulan ko sa pagsabing, 'Ik kwento mo naman sa akin ang trabaho mo.'
That made the conversation easy.
Naging mas madali ang usapan.
Then I asked, 'What would make this a win for you?'
Tapos tinanong ko, 'Ano ang magiging panalo para sa iyo?'
She thought for a moment and smiled.
Nag-isip siya sandali at ngumiti.
She said she wanted a simple solution.
Sabi niya gusto niya ng simpleng solusyon.
I repeated, 'So if I understand right, simplicity matters most.'
Inulit ko, 'Kung naiintindihan ko nang tama, simple ang pinakaimportante.'
She nodded and felt heard.
Tumango siya at naramdaman niyang nakinig ako.
That question saved us from going in circles.
Nakatulong iyon para hindi kami paikot-ikot.
Next time I will ask that question earlier.
Sa susunod, itatanong ko iyan nang mas maaga.
