I left the office without my umbrella.
मैं बिना छाते के ऑफिस से निकल गया।
The rain caught me on the way.
रास्ते में बारिश ने पकड़ लिया।
At first I felt annoyed.
पहले तो मुझे गुस्सा आया।
Then I just kept walking.
फिर मैं चलता रहा।
The drops felt cool on my skin.
बूंदें त्वचा पर ठंडी लगीं।
I noticed the smell of wet earth.
मैंने गीली मिट्टी की खुशबू देखी।
Cars splashed water from puddles.
गाड़ियों ने गड्ढों से पानी उछाला।
I took off my glasses and wiped them.
मैंने चश्मा उतारकर पोंछा।
The world looked soft and blurry.
दुनिया नरम और धुंधली लगी।
I thought about a song I like.
मुझे अपनी पसंदीदा गाना याद आया।
It has a line about rain on windows.
उसमें खिड़कियों पर बारिश की लाइन है।
Now I understand that line better.
अब मैं उस लाइन को बेहतर समझता हूँ।
