I stand near the old fountain.
मैं पुराने फव्वारे के पास खड़ा हूँ।
People walk past me quickly.
लोग मेरे पास से जल्दी जाते हैं।
I watch a father hold his child's hand.
मैं एक पिता को अपने बच्चे का हाथ पकड़े देखता हूँ।
He points at a toy on a shelf.
वह एक शेल्फ पर खिलौने की तरफ इशारा करता है।
The child laughs and claps.
बच्चा हँसता है और ताली बजाता है।
I remember my own father.
मुझे अपने पिता याद आते हैं।
He took me to markets like this.
वह मुझे ऐसे ही बाज़ार ले जाते थे।
We bought fruits and talked.
हम फल खरीदते थे और बातें करते थे।
Now I am here alone.
अब मैं यहाँ अकेला हूँ।
But the noise feels familiar.
लेकिन शोर परिचित लगता है।
I am not sad.
मैं उदास नहीं हूँ।
I am thankful for these memories.
मैं इन यादों के लिए आभारी हूँ।
