I had a patient who was very nervous yesterday.
昨天我遇到一个非常紧张的患者。
She needed a small procedure, but she was shaking.
她需要做一个小手术，但她在发抖。
I sat down next to her and spoke slowly.
我坐在她旁边，慢慢跟她说话。
I said, "I will talk you through every step."
我说：“每一步我都会跟你说明。”
She looked at me and took a deep breath.
她看着我，深吸了一口气。
I told her it is normal to feel nervous.
我告诉她，感到紧张很正常。
"Tell me if anything feels wrong," I added.
我又说：“如果有什么不舒服，就告诉我。”
Her shoulders relaxed a little.
她的肩膀放松了一些。
We went through the procedure step by step.
我们一步一步完成了整个过程。
She held my hand, but she stayed calm.
她握着我的手，但一直很平静。
Afterwards, she thanked me with a smile.
事后，她微笑着向我道谢。
I felt quietly proud of how it went.
