A guest arrived early, looking very tired.

I checked the system, and his room was not ready yet.

I felt bad for him, but I stayed calm.
Senti pena dele, mas mantive a calma.
I said, 'I am so sorry for the wait.'
Eu disse: 'Sinto muito pela espera.'
Then I offered him a drink and a seat.
Então ofereci uma bebida e um lugar para sentar.
'While you wait, may I offer you some coffee?'
'Enquanto espera, posso oferecer um café?'
He smiled a little and said yes.
Ele sorriu um pouco e disse sim.
I told him, 'I will personally let you know the moment it is ready.'

That made him feel better.
