I met a stranger on the train today.
Aku bertemu orang asing di kereta hari ini.
We started talking about the weather.
Kami mulai ngobrol tentang cuaca.
Then we talked about our dreams.
Lalu kami bicara tentang mimpi-mimpi kami.
It felt easy and natural.
Rasanya mudah dan alami.
I did not plan to talk to her.
Aku tidak berencana bicara padanya.
But the conversation just flowed.
Tapi percakapannya mengalir begitu saja.
I felt a quick bond between us.
Aku merasakan ikatan cepat di antara kami.
We laughed at the same small jokes.
Kami tertawa pada lelucon kecil yang sama.
She shared her love for old books.
Dia berbagi kecintaannya pada buku-buku lama.
I told her about my travels.
Aku cerita tentang perjalananku.
For a moment, we were close friends.
Untuk sesaat, kami seperti teman dekat.
Then her stop came too soon.
Lalu stasiunnya tiba terlalu cepat.
