I noticed something strange in production this morning.

My first thought was panic, but I held it back.

I sent a quick message to the team: "Heads up — we have an issue with the payment flow."

I added: "Here is what we know so far."

Then I listed the symptoms I had seen.

I made sure not to blame anyone.

That felt better than hiding it.
