I feel a little nervous inside.

I want to be straight with them.

So I start with the facts.

I say, 'Here is what the numbers say.'
「数字がこう言っているんだ」と言う。
I show the data on the screen.
画面にデータを映す。
Then I add, 'Here is how we can respond.'
そして「これが僕たちの対応策だ」と続ける。
I talk about our next steps.
次のステップについて話す。
The team listens quietly.
チームは静かに聞いている。
No one gets angry.
誰も怒らない。
They nod and ask good questions.
うなずいて、いい質問をしてくれる。
I feel relieved after the talk.
話し終えてほっとした。
