The water moves slowly, like a lazy snake.
A água se move devagar, como uma cobra preguiçosa.
I notice the small things I missed before.
Reparo nas pequenas coisas que não via antes.
A crack in the wall with a tiny flower.
Uma rachadura na parede com uma florzinha.
The sound of a faraway radio playing music.
O som de um rádio distante tocando música.
I feel a soft sadness, but it is okay.
Sinto uma tristeza suave, mas está tudo bem.
This sadness is part of the trip too.
Essa tristeza também faz parte da viagem.
I am not the same person who arrived.
Não sou a mesma pessoa que chegou.
The trip changed me in quiet ways.
A viagem me mudou de maneiras sutis.
Now I carry this city inside my chest.
