I left work late tonight.
今夜は仕事が遅くなった。
I forgot my umbrella again.
また傘を忘れた。
The rain was light at first.
最初は雨が弱かった。
I decided to walk anyway.
それでも歩くことにした。
The drops felt cool on my skin.
水滴が肌に冷たかった。
I noticed the street lights glowing.
街灯がぼんやり光っていた。
They made the wet ground shine.
濡れた地面がキラキラした。
Cars passed by slowly.
車がゆっくり通り過ぎた。
The world felt smaller.
世界が小さく感じられた。
I was just me and the rain.
私と雨だけの時間だった。
My shoes got wet.
靴が濡れた。
But I did not mind.
でも気にならなかった。
