आज मैंने अपने पुराने दोस्त को देखा।
We did not meet for five years.
हम पाँच साल से नहीं मिले थे।
He looked the same but different.
वह वैसा ही लग रहा था लेकिन अलग।
We sat on a wooden bench near the river.
हम नदी के पास एक लकड़ी की बेंच पर बैठे।
We talked about simple things like food and work.
हमने खाने और काम जैसी साधारण बातें कीं।
Our voices felt like an old song.
हमारी आवाज़ें पुराने गीत जैसी लगीं।
We laughed at the same old jokes.
हम उन्हीं पुराने चुटकुलों पर हँसे।
Time did not change our friendship.
समय ने हमारी दोस्ती नहीं बदली।
I felt warm inside.
मुझे अंदर से गर्माहट महसूस हुई।
Some people stay in your heart forever.
कुछ लोग हमेशा आपके दिल में रहते हैं।
I smiled as we said goodbye.
जब हमने अलविदा कहा तो मैं मुस्कुराया।
I knew we would meet again soon.
मुझे पता था कि हम जल्द ही फिर मिलेंगे।
