I watched the last leaf fall today.
Eu vi a última folha cair hoje.
It floated down like a slow dance.
Ela desceu flutuando como uma dança lenta.
The tree is now bare and thin.
A árvore agora está nua e fina.
I feel a small ache in my chest.
Sinto uma pequena dor no peito.
But maybe it is a good thing.
Mas talvez seja uma coisa boa.
The leaf did not fight the wind.
A folha não lutou contra o vento.
It just let go and drifted away.
Ela apenas soltou e flutuou para longe.
Maybe I can learn from that leaf.
Talvez eu possa aprender com essa folha.
Letting go does not mean losing.
Soltar não significa perder.
It means making room for something new.
Significa abrir espaço para algo novo.
Tomorrow the sky will look different.
Amanhã o céu vai parecer diferente.
And I will be okay with that.
E eu vou ficar bem com isso.
