I found an old photo today.
Hoy encontré una foto vieja.
It was behind a book on my shelf.
Estaba detrás de un libro en mi estante.
I had forgotten I even owned it.
Había olvidado que la tenía.
The edges were a little yellow.
Los bordes estaban un poco amarillos.
I looked at my face from ten years ago.
Miré mi cara de hace diez años.
I remembered that day clearly now.
Ahora recordé ese día claramente.
The sun was warm on my skin.
El sol estaba cálido en mi piel.
My smile was real, not posed.
Mi sonrisa era real, no posada.
I wonder who took that picture.
Me pregunto quién tomó esa foto.
That person is gone from my life now.
Esa persona ya no está en mi vida.
But the photo stays, like a small window.
Pero la foto queda, como una pequeña ventana.
I put it back between the pages.
La volví a poner entre las páginas.
