I saw the last leaf fall today.

It was hanging for days.

I watched it every morning.

Now the branch is empty.

I feel a little sad.

But maybe it is time.

The tree needs rest.

Winter is coming soon.

I learned something from this leaf.

Things do not last forever.

And that is okay.
