I forgot my umbrella today.
今日、傘を忘れた。
The rain started as I left work.
仕事を出たら雨が降り出した。
I thought about running, but I didn't.
走ろうかと思ったけど、やめた。
My coat is not waterproof, but it's okay.
コートは防水じゃないけど、大丈夫。
The rain feels cool on my skin.
雨が肌に冷たく感じる。
I can hear each drop on the leaves.
葉っぱに落ちる一粒一粒の音が聞こえる。
The street lamps make the wet road shine.
街灯が濡れた道を光らせている。
People rush past me with umbrellas.
人々は傘をさして急いで通り過ぎる。
I slow down, feeling the water on my face.
足をゆっくりにして、顔に水を感じる。
This moment is not a problem.
この瞬間は問題じゃない。
It is just a part of my evening.
ただ、私の夕方の一部だ。
I arrive home wet, but my head is clear.
濡れて家に着いたけど、頭はすっきりしている。
