I remember that first time speaking English.
It was my very first English conversation.
My heart hammered a quick rhythm then.
My heart beat very fast.
A cashier asked about my purchase.
A shop worker asked about what I bought.
I hesitated, almost turning away.
I stopped, nearly leaving.
But a new impulse pushed me forward.
A new feeling made me act.
Words felt awkward on my tongue.
The words felt strange to say.
Yet, they somehow found their way out.
Still, I managed to speak them.
The stranger actually understood me.
The person really heard my words.
A sudden spark lit up inside me.
I felt a sudden, bright feeling.
This small exchange changed everything.
That little talk changed my world.
It showed me a wider path ahead.
It opened up a new way for me.
I felt a surge of capability.
I felt very able to do things.
