I was explaining a new project concept.
新しいプロジェクトのコンセプトを説明していました。
Their faces showed some slight confusion.
彼らの顔には少し戸惑いが見えました。
My first attempt probably didn't land well.
最初の説明はあまりうまく伝わらなかったのでしょう。
I thought, "let us try another angle."
私は「別の視点からやってみよう」と考えました。
So, I used a simple, everyday comparison.
そこで、シンプルで日常的な例えを使いました。
I said, "imagine it like building a bridge."
「橋を架けるように想像してみてください」と言いました。
I broke down the complex steps visually.
複雑な手順を視覚的に分解しました。
Then I asked, "does that make it clearer now?"
そして「これで少しは分かりやすくなりましたか？」と尋ねました。
I saw heads nodding around the table.
テーブルの周りで皆がうなずいているのが見えました。
It felt good to adapt my explanation.
説明の仕方を変えられてよかったです。
Flexibility is important for good communication.
良いコミュニケーションには柔軟性が大切です。
