Tentang Spikdi

Spikdi is a small bilingual English-learning app made in Saigon. It is not a course, not a game, and not a streak machine. It is a place to spend a quiet few minutes reading short English passages with the Vietnamese line right underneath, and — when you want to — speaking them back into your phone.

We made it because everyone we knew who was trying to "get better at English" was burning out on apps that treated them like a child or a metric. They wanted something that respected their evening. Something they could open after dinner without feeling like they were back at work.

Who builds it

Spikdi is built by ISEMI COMPANY LIMITED, a one-product company based in Saigon, Vietnam. There is no investor, no growth team, and no marketing budget. The whole thing fits in a small room.

How it makes money

At launch, it doesn't. Spikdi is free. If we add paid features later — likely unlimited AI lesson generation, or longer recordings — we will announce it inside the app first, and the core reading + speaking practice will stay free forever.

We will not run ads. We will not sell data. We will not introduce a streak counter or a leaderboard. Those are commitments, not feature ideas we haven't gotten to yet.

What we believe

The full version of this lives in our manifesto. The short version: learning a second language should feel a little like reading a friend's letter, not like grinding XP.
